Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the daintydogspa.com website (the “Site”) and the in-home grooming services provided by Dainty Dog LLC, doing business as Dainty Dog Spa (“Dainty Dog Spa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By booking an appointment, using the Site, or receiving services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or book services.

1. Our Services

Dainty Dog Spa provides private, in-home grooming exclusively for small-breed dogs in and around Prescott, Arizona. Each appointment is reserved for one dog and one household at a time. Availability, service area, pricing, and the specific services offered may change without notice.

2. Booking and Appointments

By submitting a booking request, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete and that you are authorized to schedule grooming for the dog listed. Appointments are confirmed once we have reviewed your request, any requested records (including proof of vaccination), and scheduled a time with you. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any appointment.

You are responsible for providing a quiet, well-lit work area with access to a sink, tub, or shower and an electrical outlet, free of other pets and distractions, for the duration of the visit.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule without charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment are subject to a fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 100% of the scheduled service. These policies are also restated in the service agreement you sign at booking.

4. Payment

Payment for services is due at the time the service is completed, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Cancellation fees described above may be charged to the payment method on file or invoiced separately.

5. Health, Behavior, and Care Disclaimer

You represent that your dog is in good general health, current on all vaccinations required by applicable law, and free from contagious disease. You agree to disclose any prior aggressive behavior, medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or sensitivities before the appointment and to update us if anything changes.

Grooming involves tools and handling that carry inherent risks, including minor nicks, skin irritation, clipper sensitivity, and nail quicking, particularly for dogs with sensitive skin, pre-existing conditions, matting, or anxiety. Dainty Dog Spa is not responsible for pre-existing conditions that become visible during grooming. We do not provide flea, tick, or parasite treatment, and we do not perform anal gland expression. If aggressive behavior or safety concerns arise, we may end the session, and a fee may apply.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release Dainty Dog Spa and its owners, agents, and associated parties from any and all claims, damages, or liability for injury, sickness, or illness suffered by your pet during or as a result of grooming, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to our services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

6. Photo Release

We may capture photos or video during grooming for use on our website, social media, and portfolio. We never share personal identifying information (names, addresses, or contact details) alongside those images. You may opt out of photo use or revoke consent at any time in writing by emailing Tina@daintydogspa.com.

7. SMS / Text Messaging Program

By providing your mobile number to Dainty Dog Spa during booking or by contacting us, you expressly consent to receive text messages from us related to our services, including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, schedule changes, pre-visit instructions, and follow-ups.

• Message frequency: message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions with us.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply. Dainty Dog Spa does not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier may.
• Opt out: reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe.
• Help: reply HELP, or contact Tina@daintydogspa.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. Mobile information and phone numbers collected through our SMS program will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. 8. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it to transmit harmful content. All content on the Site, including text, images, and branding, is owned by Dainty Dog Spa or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content without our written permission.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites, and their inclusion does not imply our endorsement.

10. Disclaimers

The Site and our services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except as required by applicable law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Yavapai County, Arizona, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Your continued use of the Site or our services after an update constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
