Privacy Policy

Dainty Dog LLC, doing business as Dainty Dog Spa (“Dainty Dog Spa,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit daintydogspa.com (the “Site”), book an appointment, or otherwise communicate with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or our services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you book an appointment or contact us, we collect the information you submit, which may include:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and service address.
  • Information about your dog (name, breed, age, weight, health notes, behavior notes, grooming preferences).
  • Photos or documents you upload for vaccine verification or grooming reference.
  • Any messages or notes you send to us, including responses to intake questions and the signed service agreement.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our analytics and advertising partners may automatically collect limited technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and time spent on pages. This information is collected via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Schedule, confirm, and fulfill grooming appointments, including contacting you about upcoming or past visits.
  • Verify vaccine records and plan the appropriate care for your dog.
  • Send appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-ups, and service-related messages by email or SMS (see Section 4).
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
  • Improve the Site and understand how visitors use it.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors to help us operate the business, including a customer relationship management (CRM) provider that stores appointment and contact information, an email service provider, website hosting, and payment processors. These vendors are contractually restricted to using your information only to provide services to us.
  • Analytics and advertising partners. See Section 5 below regarding Google and Meta.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety.

No mobile information or phone numbers collected as part of our SMS program will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4. SMS / Text Messaging Program

If you provide your mobile phone number during booking or by contacting us, you are expressly consenting to receive text messages from Dainty Dog Spa related to your appointments and our services.

  • Message types: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, schedule changes, pre-visit instructions, follow-ups, and replies to questions you send us.
  • Message frequency: message frequency varies based on your appointments and interactions with us.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply. Dainty Dog Spa does not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier may.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a final confirmation message and then no further messages.
  • Help: reply HELP for support, or email Tina@daintydogspa.com.
  • Supported carriers: major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. We will not share your mobile opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

We may use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the Site and to measure the performance of our marketing. These tools set cookies that collect information such as pages visited, time on page, device type, and a truncated IP address. Google processes this data on our behalf. You can learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Meta (Facebook) Pixel

We may use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant ads to people who have visited the Site. The Pixel collects information such as pages visited, actions taken on the Site, and hashed identifiers that help Meta match Site activity to a Facebook or Instagram account. Cookie Choices

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site functions.

6. Data Retention

We keep booking and client records for as long as needed to provide ongoing grooming services, maintain appointment history, and comply with legal and tax obligations. You may request deletion at any time as described in Section 8.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw consent for marketing communications, by emailing Tina@daintydogspa.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site and our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Site or by email where appropriate.
